Baggage Rules in Second Class
For those traveling in second class and in Standard and Premium service levels, the total dimension of the baggage (length + width + depth), including pockets, wheels, and handles, must not exceed 161 cm (with each dimension not exceeding 80 cm).
Baggage Rules in First Class
Those traveling in first class and in Executive and Business service levels, the total dimension of the baggage (length plus width plus depth), including pockets, wheels, and handles, must not exceed 183 cm (with each dimension not exceeding 120 cm).
Each piece of luggage must have a visible label with the owner's name and contact details. Luggage must be placed in designated areas and cannot be located near doors, in vestibules, or in aisles.
Transport is allowed provided that the luggage does not obstruct and/or harm other passengers, does not interfere with the service activities of railway personnel, and does not damage the cars.
Additionally, it is prohibited to package luggage or transport goods intended for retail sale.
Other Rules for Equipment, Bikes, Strollers, and Scooters
The transport of sports equipment and musical instruments, such as skis, strollers, bicycles (provided they are disassembled and/or foldable), and electric scooters is permitted.
These items may be transported in addition to the two allowed pieces of luggage, as long as their total dimensions do not exceed 200 cm.
Bicycles and scooters must be placed in a bag with dimensions not exceeding 80x110x45 cm.
Violation of the rules results in a penalty of €50 and the obligation to remove the luggage at the first available stop.
