A Dream Beach, but Also a Fragile Ecosystem
It is a protected bay, wide and shallow. Here, where the sea becomes calm and bright, days pass slowly, filled with endless swims and pauses in the shade of the pine forest. A tropical corner without flying to the other side of the world.
If you dream of crystal-clear waters, white sand that feels like flour, and a sea with tropical reflections, there's no need to fly to the tropics. In Sardinia, just a few kilometers from San Teodoro, there is Cala Brandinchi, the beach that everyone calls "the little Tahiti."
Cala Brandinchi is one of the most spectacular beaches in Sardinia. With very light sand, transparent waters, and untouched nature, Cala Brandinchi is a Mediterranean little Tahiti, perfect to discover out of season.
Behind Cala Brandinchi, there are no resorts, only low dunes and a brackish pond where flamingos, herons, and knights move about. A landscape that changes every hour, with reflections that shift from green to pink to gold.
This protected wetland makes the place even more special. Walking along the sandy paths, you can experience a quiet, discreet nature that perfectly frames the beauty of the beach. A small paradise that deserves respect.
How to Get There and When to Visit
Cala Brandinchi can be reached by car from San Teodoro, following the signs for Capo Coda Cavallo. Just before reaching the sea, a paid parking area allows access on foot along a short path.
During the summer, it is very popular, so it's best to arrive early or choose alternative times. May, June, and September are perfect: there are fewer crowds, the sea is already warm, and the light is spectacular.
The Mediterranean You Don't Expect
Here, you don't need to do anything to feel good. Just lie down and watch the water change colors, listen to distant voices, and smell the salt in the air. At Cala Brandinchi, beauty is everywhere: in the outline of the hills, in the pine trees that reflect in the water, in the silence that arrives when the sun sets.
A place for those seeking crystal-clear waters but also true peace. And once seen, it stays in your eyes for a long time.
