During the rainy season, Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, and other paradise islands are hit by the monsoons. However, this does not mean that visiting Thailand during this time of year is not a good idea; you just need to choose the right destinations. On the east coast, the monsoon season begins in October and ends in March. Visit Koh Samui and Koh Tao, to name just a few of the incredible places in this corner of Thailand. MALAYSIA

VIETNAM
In Vietnam, the huge contrasts also extend to the climate, and temperatures vary significantly from one region to another. The northern part of the country is affected by the monsoons from May to October. The best time to visit Hanoi and Ha Long Bay is in April. LAOS AND CAMBODIA
In Laos and Cambodia, there is no way to escape the monsoons from May until early November. Nevertheless, the rains should not be a problem; more than the paradise beaches, the interesting aspects of these places are the temples and ruins, trekking, and villages.
INDONESIA

MYANMAR
Bagan and Mandalay are the cities in Myanmar that experience the least rain, but even so, from May to October it will be impossible to escape the monsoon season.
