The Most Beautiful Beaches Near Salerno

In the province of Salerno, there are some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Campania. Along the 200 km of Salerno's coastline, you will find sandy beaches, cliffs, and secret coves.

The city coastline is about five kilometers long, where you can find urban beaches for relaxation and possibly a swim. The beach can be reached by sea or by following a trekking route that goes through the Mediterranean scrub. The walking path that starts from Lentiscelle beach in Marina di Camerota allows you to admire other delightful coves only reachable by sea: Cala Fortuna and Cala Bianca.

Near the mouth of the Mingarso River, the Natural Arch beach is one of the most beautiful locations in the Cilento, also used in cinema in films like the Argonauts. The beach is famous for the rocky arch that encloses a secluded beach. From here, excursions to the caves of Cape Palinuro depart.

Iscolelli is an isolated cove from everything, a true paradise between sea and rocks. It is reached through a trekking path of about 15 minutes.

In this corner, the rocks form real natural pools.

There is a legend surrounding this beautiful beach of the Marine Protected Area of Castellabate, and it is that of the mermaid Leucosia, turned into a rock after throwing herself off the cliff for unrequited love. It is perfect for those who practice snorkeling and diving.
