The Most Loved Tourist Attraction in Every Region of Italy
It is the Trevi Fountain in Rome that is the most popular attraction in Italy. This was revealed by a study conducted by Musement, the digital platform for discovering and booking travel experiences around the world, which created a map to discover the most loved tourist attractions in each region of Italy.
To conduct the analysis, around 2,000 tourist attractions were considered - excluding squares and attractions shared by one or more regions. For each region, the attraction with the highest number of reviews on Google was deemed the most loved.
At the top, with 268,398 reviews, earning the title of the most loved tourist attraction in Italy, is the Trevi Fountain (Lazio), which surpasses the Colosseum, while the Rialto Bridge in Venice (Veneto), with 106,523 reviews, ranks second overall.
