The Romantic Road is perhaps the most famous and unmatched in beauty and popularity. This 400 km stretch of road encompasses natural sites and historical and cultural buildings of the country. The road adventure begins in Würzburg, in Franconia, and ends in the south of Germany. During the Middle Ages, it was the road that connected central Germany to the South. Along the way, you can visit the fairytale village of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the medieval city of Augsburg, the historical city of Dinkelsbühl, Harburg Castle, Wieskirche (the most beautiful Baroque church in Germany), the Neuschwanstein (the most famous castle in the world), and Hohenschwangau Castle.

Along the 1200 kilometers of road, you will find spectacular residences wrapped in myths, legends, and fairy tales. The Castle Road begins in Mannheim, where the Neckar and Rhine rivers intersect, and extends all the way to Prague. You will have the opportunity to visit fairytale locations showcasing a total of 70 castles. Some must-see places include: Heidelberg Castle, Bayreuth Castle, Nuremberg Castle, Bamberg Castle, the Clomberg Castle Hotel dating back 1000 years, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the town of Neckarsteinach with four castles, and Plassenburg Castle in Kulmbach.

The Bedtime Fairy Tales animate the iconic Fairy-Tale Road of Germany, which stretches for 600 km from the city of Hanau in central Germany to Bremen on the North Sea. The route connects the places where the Brothers Grimm were born, lived, and drew inspiration. You can follow the trail of the Pied Piper in Hamelin, visit Snow White's hometown, or snap a photo with the four musicians of Bremen. The Black Forest High Road is the oldest panoramic road in Germany, a 60 km stretch connecting Baden-Baden and Freudenstadt. This route traverses the dense Black Forest at an altitude ranging from 600 to 1000 meters. The German Limes Road is a 550-kilometer route that will take you through the most significant Roman sites in Germany.
