Cala Coticcio, where is it located?
The beach is located in the archipelago of La Maddalena, at the northwestern tip of Sardinia.
The beach is accessible solely by sea or via a trekking path. The journey isn't the easiest, but all the effort will pay off once you arrive at this natural pool.

Cala Coticcio
We could describe Cala Coticcio as an immense natural pool characterized by crystal-clear water, surrounded by pinkish rocks.
Cala Coticcio beach is beautiful, located on the northeastern part of Caprera, across from Scoglio Murru.
This small bay features dazzling white sand and turquoise water; it's for this reason that it's known as the little Tahiti of Sardinia.
A rugged path winding through the rocks will lead you to this paradise, with a walking time of 40 minutes to an hour. Alternatively, you can take a boat from Caprera. The beach is perfect for snorkeling.

How to get to Cala Coticcio?
From Palau, you can take a boat to La Maddalena and from there reach the island of Caprera via the Moneta bridge.
If you want to reach the beach by foot, rather than using the boats from the archipelago, you will need to take the road to Caprera, cross the bridge, and head towards Monte Tejalone, the highest peak of the archipelago at 212 meters.
From here, continue towards the dirt clearing where the 2-kilometer path to the beach begins.
